I have written several posts about showing up and putting in the reps since I started this Blog.\u00a0 It was as much for reminding me of what I needed to do as it was for any of my followers out there.\u00a0 I try to share my knowledge and perspective from my 50-something trips around the sun.\u00a0 When you get down to the basis of my blogs, they are to remind myself and anyone else interested in listening, that we are human, full of flaws (some hide them better than others), and we make mistakes.\u00a0 Life is not about getting everything right; it is about learning from our experiences.\u00a0 One of my favorite quotes (I will paraphrase) is \u201cin trying to do something, it is not about finding 100 ways to get something wrong, rather it is learning 100 ways to not fail at what you are trying to achieve.\u201d\u00a0 The key to success is with each attempt, you learn from your mistakes, so you do not repeat them and are wiser for the efforts.\u00a0 And that comes from putting in the repetitions. (Sound familiar?) So, if you are looking for some of my old Blogs\u2026 Well let\u2019s just say I spent the day figuring out how to move a database and create a live feed to my website https:\/\/honorandink.com without deleting all the old blogs, and a lesson in backing up your old data BEFORE making changes that might delete your data\u2026\u00a0 Look at me still learning and getting wiser!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This week I will be working on improving my shading techniques and skills and will be blogging about my experiences with improving this skill.\u00a0 This rose is my first attempt at improving my shading skills.<\/p>\r\n

So if you are struggling with what you are seeing as failures, take a moment to breathe, learn from the lessons that life is teaching you, and then keep putting in your reps.\u00a0 And once you figure it out, take a moment to celebrate your success.\u00a0 And maybe figure out how to share your lesson with others so they can share in your wisdom.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
