If you’re going to get a tattoo, speak with authority, build something that lasts, or guide others, don’t stop at knowing. Verify. Read the source. Ask better questions. Do the work. That’s how knowledge becomes leverage—and leverage, used well, becomes freedom.

A vision isn’t a contract—it’s a compass. It gives you something to aim at when the path gets unclear.

Progress doesn’t always look like praise. Sometimes it looks like showing up anyway. So I will keep showing up. Refining the collar. Softening the muzzle transitions. Writing alongside the work… and not waste the gift of time when it’s given.

Hearing that meant more to me than any award or medal ever could. It reminded me that leadership, much like humility, doesn’t always fix everyone in the moment — but when it lands, it can ripple forward for years.
